Tancho Sanke are nice, they are like the Tancho Kohaku, but they have more color. Just like any Tancho, the only Hi coloration should be on the Maruten spot, in between the eyes. The sumi should be balanced and spaced evenly, just like a regular Taisho Sanshoku (Sanke). Also, the sumi should not be touching the Hi.
The Tancho Mystique:
The Tancho Koi, the ones with a nice head pattern, are one of the Japanese' favorite types of Koi. It is because this pattern looks like their national flag and the red crowned crane (Grus japonensis). Every Koi collector needs at least one Tancho in their collection.
