Tancho Kujaku are just like regular Kujaku, but they only have a pattern on their maruten spot, the pattern on the head. Tancho Kujaku are a great find, if you see one, buy it. These do not come around very often. The pattern should be round an centered on the head. The net pattern should not have any flaws.
The Tancho Mystique:
The Tancho Koi, the ones with a nice head pattern, are one of the Japanese' favorite types of Koi. It is because this pattern looks like their national flag and the red crowned crane (Grus japonensis). Every Koi collector needs at least one Tancho in their collection.
