There was a koi fish named Fredrick. Fredrick was not like the other koi fish in his pond. He had big dreams and aspirations beyond swimming around all day. You see, Fredrick wanted to fly.
Every day, Fredrick would stare up at the sky, watching the birds fly by, and he dreamed of soaring through the air himself. He tried everything to make his dream come true. He jumped out of the water, he flapped his fins as hard as he could, but nothing seemed to work.
One day, Fredrick had an idea. He had heard that humans had something called "wings" that allowed them to fly. So, he set out on a mission to find some wings of his own.
He searched high and low, asking every creature he met if they had any wings to spare. Finally, he stumbled upon a group of geese who were flying overhead. He begged and pleaded with them to give him some wings, and after much convincing, they finally agreed.
Fredrick excitedly attached the wings to his body and took off into the air, flapping his new wings with all his might. He soared higher and higher, feeling the wind rush past him. But as he looked down, he realized that he was flying over a busy highway.
Suddenly, he heard the honking of car horns and the screeching of brakes. Panic set in as he realized that he was about to crash into a car. In a moment of desperation, he let out a loud "Squawk!" and woke up from his dream.
Fredrick was relieved to find that he was still swimming in his pond, and he realized that flying might not be for him after all. From that day on, he focused on enjoying his life in the water and appreciated the simple pleasures of swimming.
